9401/0, Marine Nationale Submariner, Steel

$37,000

A well-documented Marine Nationale (MN) issued 9401/0 in remarkable condition. This MN MilSub dates to 1975, the first year that France’s Naval Service ordered and received 9401/0 Submariners for the MN. The MN 9401/0 was the result of a decades long partnership between the MN and Tudor, which has directly influenced the course of Submariner evolution to this day. This particular example, though, is not only the reference that arguably contributed most heavily to the Tudor Submariner identity, but this one also served on the wrist of a member of the MN’s tip of the spear special operations unit: Le Commando Hubert.
