The Vienna Hofburg Orchestra began in 1971 when the finest classical musicians in Vienna united under famed Austrian conductor Gert Hofbauer with the goal of promoting Viennese waltz and operetta music. Today, the Orchestra regularly holds concerts in the most beautiful and elegant concert halls in Vienna.
