2913-3, Meister Dial Seamaster 300, Steel

$75,000

An exceptionally well-preserved 2913-3 Seamaster 300 with a Meister dial. This is example is from 1959 and made by its condition, which is world-class. The straight-lug, Hugenin Frères 39mm case is untouched, with a flawless bakelite bezel and completely original dial sporting pumpkin luminous plots. This, thanks to spending most of its life in a drawer. It was ordered in period with two bracelets, a stretch flat link and ‘bamboo’ beads of rice, both of which are included and date to 1959. This 2913 is the exact watch which Hodinkee used in their Reference Points on the Seamaster 300 to demonstrate the 2913-3. The Seamaster 300 is a foundational model to the Omega of today. This example is not just where that lineage started, it’s one of the most beautiful and entirely original examples known to the community.
